Okay guys I’m sooo excited! I just had to post again. So my mum and aunt came to visit me at school today and we went out to dinner. My mum told me that my business cards came in!!!! weeee!!! And I was talking to my aunt and her boyfriend’s daughter draws anime and she’s willing to draw my characters for The Cycle of Zantor!!!! I have been trying to get this done for ages upon ages and I’m so happy. Plus it’s going to be anime style and incase you didn’t know I’m an uber anime freak!! So ya today just got even better!

Spring and Music

Just thought I’d let you all know that I’m doing some amazing editing lately! So I’m setting myself a goal for April. I’d like to finish editing Part I by the end of April… I’d love to have Part II done as well… but alas I must be realistic…. Any how I was a little sad this morning because I did not have my Nazi Era Germany class. *tear* so I have to wait a whole week till the next one. So I only have Algebra tonight… should probably hop on doing that homework…. Eh I have four hours to do it. Haha.




And just a side note… I’ve been totally addicted to the band All Time Low lately… I’ve been ligit listening to them every day since I got one of their older albums from Spencer over spring break! And it’s nice and sunny out today, a little windy but soooo nice! I’m so happy that it’s finally spring and that I can walk around on campus without having to bundle up. I <3 spring!

Suvudu Semifinals

Yes my two boys made it to the suvudu semifinals!! Kvothe is against Jamie Lannister. And Drizzt is against Rand Al’Thor. I just voted and for Drizzt (cause he rocks) and he’s losing 38 to 63 *sigh*. But I found the write up soooooo fucking funny! Check it::


"Rand Al’Thor stood across the arena from Drizzt. They both seemed serious—they had come a long way and defeated many great champions along the way. But the respect that they held for each other was tempered by the fact that they had to try to kill one another.
Drizzt drew his scimitars, his familiar Guenhwyvar prowling behind him.

Hahahahahaha such a cheap shot… but still uber funny. I would still like to believe that Drizzt would win this if it was for real… he should have just covered Rand in a globe of darkness than attacked. Seriously if he can’t see the general direction to cast the balefire then fail…. But maybe it’s just wishful thinking….


And damnit!! Kvothe is down 35 to 65! Come on people go vote for Kvothe!! He kicks ass! Plus he’s way awesome and totally hot in the picture they have. Haha.

Another overhaul of my site!!

Once again I have redone my website…. It looks really ligit now. And it’s all because we started our final project for my writing course and that’s an online portfolio. And we’re using google sites so I easily put up all the pages for the project. So while my teacher was helping other people I started fooling around with it and I was playing with color combinations and I found one that I liked more than my previous one. So of course I had to go and redo my whole site…. so worth it! So check it out!!

Suvudu

I have done absolutely nothing interesting lately so that’s why I haven’t blogged in a while…. And I still don’t have anything to cool to talk about….. so I’m just going to steal a blog that Pat Rothfuss did. Hehe. And so I shall talk about the Suvudu Cage match. Lol.



Basically it’s a totally awesome thing where Suvudu pick out a bunch of totally awesome characters and makes them fight! It’s rather funny actually. But I’m tots def loving it cause some of my favorite characters are in it and kicking butt right now. For instance…. Kvothe from Pat Rothfuss’s Name of The Wind totally kicking ass! It’s already into the third round so Kvothe has defeated Garet Jax and (my favorite) Aslan. Muhahahaha. Right now he’s up against Dumbledore. And is winning 56% to 44%. Hehehe. I hope he wins. Another personal favorite Drizzt Do’Urden. Also still alive in the third round having defeated Kahlan Amnell (hahaha) and The Shirke. But sadly he’s losing 49% to Ged at 51%... crossing my fingers that he’ll pull through!! And yup those are my two favorite. But on some funny news… now I find this beyond hysterical. In the first round Ged went up against Edward Cullen. (don’t laugh yet!) So the people of Suvudu write up little stories of how they see it going. This is the ending for the Ged vs. Edward…


     But there was no time. Edward was upon him, punching so hard that it was all Ged could do to keep himself from being pummeled. He thought it was over—that all his training and power were for naught—when the normally overcast sky of Forks cleared up just enough for the sun to shine down.
     And make Edward start to sparkle.
     Ged started giggling. “Seriously?” he asked.
     “Wh—” Edward asked, and then saw that his hands were all sparkly. “God damn it…”
It didn’t matter, though, because Ged had figured out Edward’s true name. Saying it aloud, Edward was banished from this world, causing the gaggle of girls to break free of their bonds and screechingly run after Ged, who realized he had to flee or be trampled under their hormonal onslaught.
     As he ran away, the true name he spoke could still be heard on the wind:
     “Nancy…”


WAIT!!! NO LAUGHING YET!!! The final outcome of the match *drum roll* Ged 92% Edward 7%. I now give thee permission to laugh.

-Aslan vs. Eragon – Alsan won 85 to 14
-Aragorn vs. The We Free Men – Aragorn won 67 to 32

End of Break

So spring break is over and I’m back at school! Yay! I only have 26 days left of classes (no Friday classes and duh weekends off). So that’s pretty cool and it makes me way excited! I only have another two weeks till I can start expecting a reply from NYU! Whoot! Over break I went into the city with my family and my freids who came in from Colorado! We spent the day in China Town! So much fun. I really can’t wait to live in the city. I got so excited when we were driving toward Time Square we saw NYU buildings and it was just tots def awesome cause I was like “oh look there’s my school.” Hahaha. Oh and it was really nice and sunny and warm! Now I’m getting all hyper and excited about the city. I could just go on and on about it because it’s pretty much one of the best places…EVER! And I didn’t bring my camera but Tammy took some cool pics… so I’m borrowing them to post because they are amazing.

I mean come on just look at it! How can you not love NYC!!

And I was doing some more research today on Forensicness… can’t remember if I’ve posted about this but I’m majoring in Biology and History. The Bio so I can become a Forensic Scientist (another subject I could go on and on and on about). I’m still going to go for working my first three or four years with the NYPD then I got this awesome idea in class today that I should go work in Europe! So I was looking at the Metropolitan Police department (aka London Police). Cause I think it would be so cool there. But I’d want to work out of New Scotland Yard… you know all Sherlock Holmesy and what not. Hahaha. Plus it’d be real chill. Someone asks, “Hey where do you work?” I reply, “Scotland Yard.” The person would be blown away by my awesomeness. Hahahaha. Just too cool right?

I’ve been doing a lovely job of procrastinating on edits. I did some really good edits over break. Added another 4 pages. Then I got distracted by my fanfic. Grr my nerdyness! On the upside though I’ve got 229 reviews. Yay! Plus I found a new manga, The Black Butler, that I’ reading.

It’s really good. I’ve done enough dawdling now… I need to write three article summaries for my Nazi Ear Germany class tomorrow afternoon.

St. Patricks Day Shenanigans

Happy St. Patricks Day!



Guess who sent in their NYU application? ME!! My for that I needed filled out by school took me about 45 minutes to do. I would have had it done a lot sooner had I been told to go to the right place. Thank you very much Dr. Banit for misguiding me…. Grr. Anyhow I got all my teachers to sign off on my grades and I’m doing very good, I’ve got B’s one A. yay! And I just sent my transcript out after a huge clown operation with tuition payments and what not. I really can’t wait to transfer! So I officially have everything submitted or in the process of being submitted. Can’t wait!


And I was very productive yesterday. I picked out titles for my second quartet and typed more of the outline. AND I redid my webpage. So you should totally check that out. I fixed The Cycle of Zantor page so it’s all up to date and the book summaries for The Final Thread Quartet are all current now. I also updated the About The Author section! It looks way cool.


Let’s see I’m still plugging along in edits. I’m still working on the rewrite part of the whole summarize, throw out, rewrite deal. I typed about three pages yesterday I think. Also I’m on chapter 18 of my fanfiction and I have 190 reviews! Yay! It makes me happy. And I’m going to post the first chapter of another fanfiction I’m starting! Yay for me and my dorkyness.


I cut my hair Friday! It’s this sort of long fo-hawk deal and I just redyed my colors today so it looks way kick ass. Also I ordered my business cards today!

Way cool right! So I’m already for my signing! I’m nearly done with the arrangements! Whoot! Also I’ll be going back to my middle school to spend the day and do a talk. And it’s finally feeling like spring now. this makes me ever so happy.

Fun Post

Okie dokie… I’ve been slacking lately with blogs. But I’ve been busy with getting my application finished up for NYU. I just need Kean to stop being dumb! Grr. But it’s all good spring break start tonight at after my late bio class. My mum is being nice and coming to pick me up! Whoot! I’m pretty pumped for the break I get to go home and relax and sleep in and not have a loud roommate wake me up at 10:30 in the morning! I'm also going to redo my website! Yay! I also plan on doing a butt load of edits and I’ll be finishing my Writing Process Narrative. A rough draft is due today… ya I’m stumped about a page in… I’ve got a bunch of free writing we did in class and blogs we posted but I can’t seem to pull it all together. Plus It’s hard to try and look at my writing process and still write without getting distracted and I can’t come up with the type of deep thoughts my professor if looking for. So it’s annoying especially since all I do is write. Any how BIG BIG news! I got in my books (all 200 of them) for my sighing I’m setting up in a few weeks. As soon as I get a date I’ll post it I promise. So I’m waaay excited about that. I’m also excited cause last weekend when I was home I bought two new albums, Kutless – It is Well and Sidewalk Prophets – These Simple Turths. I totally love them! And Bullet For My Valentine’s new album Fever comes out April 27! I sooo cannot wait! Their song they have out Begging For Mercy totally rocks!

And I was looking at my friend’s Facebooks yesterday and my brother had posted this cover on his friend’s wall. I laughed my butt off.



So yup… I think that’s just about all that’s new…

Write, Summarize, Throw out, Rewrite

First off I finished my outline for my second series. Instead of it going Quest Quartet, Final thread Trilogy, Saga of Resurrected Blood… it shall now go Quest Quartet, Final Thread Quartet. At least that’s the plan now. If the books get too long then it may be a quintet or a six book saga. We’ll see. So this now means my dorm wall is back to normal. It took two hours but I did it! The reason it took so long was I had to think things through sort of prewrote scenes in my head and so on so I could come up with the best and most epic series! And I did. It’s going to be beyond AMAZING! Really it is.



Anyhow on to my main reason for posting. In my writing class we’ve been reading some of Peter Elbow’s work. And he had talked about writing something through, summarizing it, throwing it out, and writing it again. It sounded beyond ridiculous to me when my teacher was talking about it cause it seemed like a waste of time to write something then throw it out just to rewrite it again. So to sort of tangent up to this point I’ve been stuck in editing cause I’m still at the beginning where there is a lot of boring traveling and its gross. So I’ve been trying figure out how to fix this. Then it snapped in my head… summarize it… throw it out… rewrite it!!! So that’s my project for tonight. Which means no Uno tonight. Haha.


Okay so I’ve played Uno with the guys that dorm next door to me cause Whiteman is a coed dorm! Whoot! And at the beginning of the year I totally thought they were annoying… nope turns out they’re just like my older brother and his friends…. Wait… that does make them annoying and lots of fun to hang out with. Which is fun. I have more friends on campus! Yay!
