Good news and bad news…. Good news = I’m dying my hair for the last time this school year. Bad news = I killed off my green, orange, and purple dye. I’ve had them for like a year so I think I’ve gotten my money’s worth. Lol. I’ll have nice hair for my VHS school visit and my signing in a few weeks. And I’ll get to order new dye this summer (I totally can’t wait). Today we went to a book sale that our county library holds each year I got some really good looking books to read for the summer and some history books as well! It was super cheap (which always makes me excited). I’ve been stuck up on edits lately because I’m angry at myself for including so much travel time and useless scenes… so I’ve got to consolidate and fix and do a bunch of things with that. It probably would be done or at least halfway done if I hadn’t been avoiding it lately. I’ve been working on my Fanfictions… which is fun but well… not productive for my book. Silly me. So I’ve got to man up and finish edits if I’m going to reach my goal for the end of this month. I also have homework to do for my Writing class tomorrow. I’m writing a query letter so it won’t take me that long (cause I’m modifying and making better one of my old ones) but I just don’t feel like being productive right now…. so ya… but tomorrow is Monday which means a whole new week to work with!

Sun and Tunes

It’s so nice and sunny today! I think it’s a day for editing… like a lot of editing! I hope I can focus and get it done. Haha. And I decided since it’s only 3 and I don’t have class till 7:30 that I would make a playlist! I made it at Playlist.com so I could share it with you all!

 So I just voted in the Suvudu final match of Jamie vs. Rand. I voted Jamie who is winning 51 to 49…. So we’ll see who wins. There is still 5 days left. And there is a consolation match of Drizzt vs. Kvothe…. This is a toughy for me cause I totally love them both! Gah!! (break to go read the scenario and vote) Okay I lied I voted Kvothe. Which btw he’s winning 63 to 37.

Robot Unicorn Attack

Ahhh Saturday! Today has been yet another fantastic day! So yesterday a friend gave me a bamboo sushi mat and sushi wrapper-thingys. Now I’ve been meaning to learn to make sushi for like ever now it seems cause its way expensive to buy. So today my mum and I went Wall Mart to get all the things I needed to make it. I was beyond excited right. The only thing I was a wee bit worried about was I didn’t want to spend the $5 to get a little bag of Japanese rice so I used American long grain (online it says not use this cause you can’t make it sticky enough). So I just used the recipe online for making it with the Japanese. And guess what!!! It came out fine with the American. I was so excited! Cause the rice is the most important part and all right. Since my mum was a little afraid to use fish (even the sashimi –grade). But she said next time I can if I find it locally! This time I just used avocado, carrots, and cucumbers. It came out AMAZING!! Turns out I’m way pro at rolling it too!! Check out what I made!! We’re having it with dinner tonight! My mum and I tried some and it was amazing! I’m o way proud of me!

Since it’s Easter weekend my older brother is home so h shared a game with me. It’s called Robot Unicorn Attack and I’m waaaaaaay addicted. Spencer and I are in a competition to see who can score the highest. Hahaha! I beat his high score of 49,000 this morning with 68,000. Then he beat me with 98,000. Grrr! I haven’t had the time to try and beat him…. I decided to edit instead of play an addictive internet game. Hahaha.


Update on the Suvudu Cage Match!! It hasn’t been posted but it ended yesterday at noon and by the percents it’s going to be Jamie Lannister Vs. Rand Al’Thor. Kvothe tried to come back at the end though. He lost 47% to 53%. Next year I hope he kicks ass! As for Drizzt he sort of lost massively…. 37% to Rands 63%. I think I’m going to vote Jamie for the finals. Cause 1- he killed Kvothe so he’s got to be good 2- his name is the same as one of my characters (hehehe). Good reasons right. Rofl.


OH AND HUGE NEWS!!! I’ll know tomorrow afternoon what date my signing is!! So check back!

Home!!

Ahhh being home… I woke up early so I could eat before catching the train. Yeah guess who forgot since it’s good Friday that campus is closed (aka closed dining hall). Yup. So I went for a nice walk this morning. Hahaha. I ate pretzels and raisins at my dorm cause my mum promised to make me breakfast when I got home! Yay! So it was a nice warm sunny walk to the station. Spring time rules. And I came home to my business cards! They look way cool. And guys fantastic news!! I’ve got a venue for my signing!! I’m just going to pick out a date! How way freaking cool! Today is beyond amazing! Oh to make it even better I’m finishing typing and fixing up my outline for my second series! Okay so I was on Apolo’s twitter page just now and he posted this a few minutes ago “Friday is up and rocking. I ask myself - how can I 100% maximize the opportunities today? The journey IS the destination!” Like can you say wow! He’s truly an inspiration to me because he’s always posting stuff like that up and it makes me go wow then I want to work on my series and it’s just so cool that he’s such a ligit person. If I ever get the chance to meet him I’d jump on that opportunity. April is going to be an amazing month… I can just feel it!

April 1st Happiness

Happy April 1st! today was such a beautiful day! I walked around in a tee-shirt. It was still nice when I got out of my late class like 20 minutes ago. Sooooo wonderful! And you know how I said I found someone to draw for me!!! I was texting her during class and she’s totally willing to help! Like how could this day get any better? Oh that’s right I posted new chapter to both my fanfictions! Weee! And I already started on my Writing presentation. It’s basically going to kick butt. Lol. And I’m way hyper cause it was just such an awesome day. and tomorrow I’m getting up early to catch the 10:15 train home! Yay!
